This is a simple bullet penetration package that works with the default Gun package.
- Drag the Bullet Penetration template on to any mesh or voxel mesh.
- Adjust the pierce resistance value. If the damage of the gun exceeds this value, the bullet will penetrate the surface.
Damage is adjusted automatically when penetrating surfaces. If your gun does 100 damage, and your surface has 50 pierce resistance, your resulting damage will be 50.
Likewise, this also takes into account damage falloff.
Note: Adding this script to a mesh or voxel mesh will enable damage.
