Crayta allows users to write a description when they create a package. However, this can only be seen on the community tab when browsing the packages, which makes it good for a brief description but not so useful for an in-depth description of how to use the package.
The forum is a useful place to write up longer descriptions of how to use packages, that can include images, videos and links. However, this feature request suggests that Crayta should allow package creators to write a more full description / readme file, that users of the package will be able to read in-game while working on the package.
