An in-world fitting room for trying on meshes and finding the right position and rotation for each item when worn on your Player.

UPDATES 9/16/20:

  • Items now save their positions and rotation, even between play sessions
  • Added a pedestal in the Fitting Room Example - when you stand on it the camera switches to a close-up cam

FEATURES:

  • Positioning and Rotation controls for moving items to specific sockets on the Player and fine-tuning their placement
  • Supports multiple items being worn at the same time
  • UI for seeing which item you’re controlling, and which axis you’re currently adjusting

TO USE:

  • Drag the “Player Fitting Room” script folder onto your Player
  • Drag the “wearableItemScript” onto any mesh you want your Player to be able to wear
  • Optional: Drag the “Fitting Room Example” template into your scene
  • NOTE: For on-screen control prompts, make sure to install the Prompts package by Crayta
  • NOTE: Works best if you set the meshes to overlap with your Player

COMING FEATURES:

  • Support for specific grips
  • Easy snap-to pre-selected position and rotation values (i.e. 45, 90, 180 degrees)
