Name: Input Handler
The Input Handler is a simple script that can be attached to the User or Player templates to give them events for every button input. Simply add the script (or script folder template) to the User or Player template, and then set any of the events to call different functions in your game. The events are called with the entity as the argument (either the User or Player entity).
This script is useful for quickly connecting user inputs to any other scripts in your game. Those scripts can be in the world (e.g. on extra1Pressed, open all doors), or scripts on the entity it’s attached to (e.g. on primaryReleased, turn this player entity invisible).
This could also be a useful debug script - you can hook up different inputs to take you to parts of the map, or cycle through cameras.
