Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000080

Describe the bug:
First time playing the game, when I launch it the game crash.

How do you cause this bug?
Open the game, after the easy anti cheat loading the game crash

Every time I open the game, never made it into.

I’m having trouble finding your account our side because it was your first time playing. Could you provide us your full dxdiag so we can try to match up the crash report from that please? You can find info on how to do that on the linked page: Open and run DxDiag.exe

I run DxDiage and saved all the informations but how can I upload the file here since the authorized extensions are jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, mp4

@QA_Kathel has suggested that possibly you might need to run the game on directx 11 which would be the next thing to try. Can you go to the EGS launcher, click your user icon and select Settings, then scroll all the way to the bottom, click the Crayta product to expand it, then tick "“Additional Commandline Arguments” and put this in the text field:
-dx11

This should force the game to run in DirectX11 instead of 12. Let us know if you can then run it successfully.

Unfortunately the game crashed though this time it made into this game screen and crashed with a different crash report.

The report says the following :

Thanks for the update, it’s useful that you’re at least getting a little further into the game loading as that may mean logs were generated. Could you create a support ticket via this form please? https://support.crayta.com/hc/en-us/requests/new that should allow you to send us your logs which you can find info on here https://support.crayta.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018791717-How-do-I-send-game-logs-PC-only-

Could you also attach a dxdiag if possible via the ticket and let me know in this thread once the ticket is there with the logs and dxdiag? Thanks very much!

I’ve got the files from our support team now. I think someone from support already noticed your graphics drivers are out of date and asked you to update them. Could you let me know if that changes anything and if it doesn’t I’ll get a report put together to look into.

I tried to update the drivers through the device manager but it says the best drivers are already installed. I tried to uninstall the device and windows install the same 2017 version.

I checked the manufacturer website but it has an older version that causes problems.
So I checked next nvidia website and I found a new drivers for my card but when I tried to install them it says the graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows.

Yes the error in the crash reporter changed after running the game with DirectX 11, I can’t screenshot it because the text on the third line is too long so I will just post the error here :

I’m still not finding a crash report our end, are you definitely pressing “send and close” or “send and restart”?

If you are, could you look in the following place on your harddrive: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Crayta\Saved\Crashes and see if you have some files in there? If you do could you create a new support ticket (or update the previous one if that’s possible) and attach those files from the latest folder in there to the ticket? There are usually 4 files inside the folder.
