This feature request is to add a voice (speech to text) Lua API so that game creators can allow their players to interact with games using voice. This might include the ability to record the player’s input into a microphone, which then has a callback containing the string of text that the user said. This could be used in-game in a number of ways. For example, you could “cast spells” by speaking them, or it could be used for accessibility reasons in your game, such as using voice to open the inventory, or select a hotbar slot.
Note that this feature request was submitted when Crayta was on Stadia only, so the need / requirements may be different on PC.
